Those slur bans will be applied “with increasing severity on a case-by-case basis.” Bans can be for 2, 6, or 15 days, or permanent, depending on severity, and Ubisoft are tracking individual players to see how often they’re using defamatory language. Particularly egregious offenders may be banned permanently without a warning or shorter ban beforehand.Season 3 will also see the addition of a mute text chat function, letting you silence communication from specific players.
You can mute text or voice individually for any player in the game. The season will also add an automated chat filter that replaces words in a specified list, notifying players when their language is found “unacceptable.” The developers will track the number of times this filter is triggered to take action against players who are “intentionally having a negative impact” on others.will be dealt with even sooner, with season 2.

Ok I watched the video and a few others. Myself and I believe a good chunk of the others suggesting to turn it off are definitely wrong on this one. You are absolutely right, turning off FF would turn this game into a shit show from jump.
A vote system would help but due to how its designed not entirely necessary. This is more like old rainbow 6 and CS as you said. And christ at what the poor girl in the video has to deal with. I thought my female friends that play WoW have it rough I can't imagine how bad it must be in a competitive game. The price of the full game never goes below 45. I was waiting for 30 but they keep adding more and more and the price never dropped.
I would also put forth more money after purchase as well. Believe me, I have/had serious interest, before this at least. Not everyone has to buy at launch or even within years of launch to be interested in purchasing a game, even if it's a competitive shooter. For instance, I just bought world at war on pc last year and I LOVE it.Edit: also, I refuse to participate in free weekends. I have a data cap.
If you 'accidentily' kill 2 people in a match, you might as well get struck by lightning. To have it happen more than one time to you ever seems nearly inconceivable, let alone often enough to ever get more than a thirty minute ban. Again, you're simply proving that you have NEVER played siege when you post shit like this.EDIT: I see you saying you play the game, to which I say.i doubt it? If it takes occasionally losing the ability to plkay for thirty whole minutes, to get rid of intentional TKers? I'll gladly take thaat once in a lifetime 30 minute ban. So would anyone else that plays this game, except for apparently you.I was terrible at siege when I started, absolutely awful, I still very rarely accidentily TKed anyone, and never twice in a match.

You're just concern trolling (Really Dude?) if you think this is possible. I'm GARBAGE at siege.
Absolute garbage. And I do not do this.

Again, it's patently obvious that you've never played the game if you think this is a thing you're going to do. You have to disable a ton of options in order to make enemies and allies confusing in most situations besides someone walking RIGHT onto you. There's a reason every 'funny random moments in siege' video has tons of accidental TKs - because they're RARE AS FUCK and hilarious when they do happen typically. If you happen to get it twice in one round, A) be more careful after the first one. Thirty minutes.
Your life will go on. They're not going to wonder why. It says 'you were removed from the match for Teamkilling' already, and it's going to say 'Matchmaking ban - teamkilling' in a big ass fucking bar along the top of the screen. And yes, it's concern trolling.
Rainbow Six Siege Team Killing Ban Appeal
Pretending that somehow you're arguing that this is bad for all the newbies, when we were all newbies once and none of us had this problem. As someone pointed out above: this benefits newbies THE MOST because they're the ones most likely to be frustrated and quit when they get TKed intentionally (which is more likely to happen to them because toxic assholes MOSTLY do it to people that are underperforming or doing 'stupid' things which is what newbies do). Ok I watched the video and a few others. Myself and I believe a good chunk of the others suggesting to turn it off are definitely wrong on this one.
Rainbow Six Siege Team Killing Banks
You are absolutely right, turning off FF would turn this game into a shit show from jump. A vote system would help but due to how its designed not entirely necessary. This is more like old rainbow 6 and CS as you said. And christ at what the poor girl in the video has to deal with. I thought my female friends that play WoW have it rough I can't imagine how bad it must be in a competitive game. I have the game on Xbox and PC and have managed to never teamkill, either on purpose or accidental. I have however been teamkilled a ton to the point where I either just end up leaving the match or getting fed up and playing something else entirely and that shouldn't ever be a thing.
Much better to force the asshats who keep teamkilling to play something else.To be banned for a week, you would need to be repeatedly teamkilling and have already gone through several levels of shorter ban lengths to ever reach that point. I didn't play the game for a long time so i ddin't know about the recent updates. There are team mates in various games that stay in front of you the whole time, and those are the incompetent ones, so they hinder your sight, especially in concealed spaces where you have to hide and stay for some time and some shots destined to enemies in your sight, can surprsingly land on them if they keep hopping in front of you. So Killing that same person twice in a round by mistake can't be that hard or eaisly avoided. Let alone that some explosives could do that in many occasions.
Sometimes when you thought you threw a greande from a window, yet it bounces on the wall and kills your entire team in the house. But those doing it on purpose should be sentenced, that is sure.Aren't there options for some matches to disable team fire for the whole round? I have team killed two people one time, in a very chaotic moment, and they were both pretty low on health. It was kind of hilarious, because they were both good friends and we were all shocked it went down. Dota ai map official. They both strafed in front of me when I was Tachanka.I will say. The last few months in this game, team killing has seemingly gotten a lot more prevalent. Jumped in a game a couple weeks ago with a friend, and in 4 straight games, we were team killed by people at the onset.
Within 5 seconds. It was crappy as hell. Glad they are trying to do something about it.
